Shaul Mofaz was born and raised in Iran?!
Edited on Tue Sep-16-08 11:23 PM by thewiseguy
WTF?

He is running against Livni for the leadership of Kadima party. The winner of tomorrow's election is expect to be Israel's next prime minister.

Funny thing is that in spite of his very harsh rhetoric towards Iran, Shaul Mofaz was born in Iran and left there when he was 9!

Is this crazy or what? :wtf: Doesn't he have family back in Iran?

1. Israel is a very young state.
There continues to be a very large immigrant population from many places. Not unusual.

2. Partly raised in Iran, partly in Israel.
Of the 25,000 Jews left in Iran, it is possible he has relatives there, but he may not. I have never seen anything one way or the other. What's "crazy" about his origins?
