I got home just in time for Rachel. What's really cool is the replay of Countdown right after Rachel's show so I can catch it in 30 minutes.

The Monegan interview was great. One of the only one's he's done. Of course this will further the GOOPers stance that it's a Democrat smear.

She was newer than the others, but I was always incredibly impressed at her ability to grasp issues & extract the most salient nugget in every news story.

but like you I was impressed with her complete grasp of the day's events. Nothing got past her. Plus Lizz Winstead and Kent Jones made it a great morning show. She's come a long way.
