Sarah Palin's Ovation and Speech at the RNC Convention
I am watching the RNC Convention speech of Sarah Palin. If a Democratic candidate had stood an ovation for almost three minutes would the media have claimed the Democrat was a ego manic? It just seems to me that if that had happened at the DNC Convention the media would have said the Democrat was stroking their ego. In addition, did the media ever really count out John McCain during the primaries or at any point during the election cycle. I know the media talked about his struggles, but did they ever say he would not get the nomination. Furthermore, I am not trying to be sexist, but did her speech sound more like a beauty contestant speech than a political party convention speech? This speech really sounded as if she was trying to win a beauty contest instead of accepting the nomination of a major political party. Seriously, was that speech not the stupidest speech ever written and given. Seriously, that was just a stupid speech. There was nothing in the speech that was inspiring, nothing exciting, and nothing great. Even for a Republican speech I expect the speech to have some type of punch, but in my opinion this speech did not have anything. It was like she was giving her first speech for her run for Miss America. Does she know she is actually running for Vice President of the United States and not Miss America. I am not trying to be mean to Palin, but I did not like this speech at all.

5. Didn't Know I Needed It
Even though I did not really want to watch the speech I did not think it would be as bad as it was.

4. They gave her an ovation before they knew her from Adam.
'Way to go, Republicans! You really will do anything you are ordered to do!

They were HILARIOUS.
