She's doing a live radio show from Ithica, NY, which she had committed to before getting her show. Alledgedly she had asked MSNBC for the night off, and they said no. So where she's going to be broadcasting from, if she broadcasts, should be interesting. She's probably also annoyed she had to put on make up for her live show.

Hurricane coverage is cheap and easy with lots of visuals. Plus, it's a Friday night. They know the ratings aren't going to be that big anyway. Might as well go the cheap route.
