1. What's that on his wrist?
I hadn't noticed it before. Some kind of med-alert?

4. That's an American soldier's name
on a bracelet - someone who's in Iraq - as I understand it.

It's total, absolute, overwhelming, really beautiful proof that McLame supports the troops. :sarcasm:

9. Isn't it nice he helped send that soldier there to possibly get slaughtered for corporate America?
That's sweet, I think.

5. It's a POW/MIA bracelet
You can get them with the names of people who are either currently being held captive or were MIA and never found.

19. I wore one, too
My guy, 1st Lieutenant Clive Jeffs, has never been found. The bracelet cracked in half after being worn every day.

and I could swear it was Clive Jeffs! I haven't been able to remember my guy's name for years, but when I read your post, I could almost see it carved into the metal... That bracelet meant so much to me.

In reality, McCain is pretty decrepit... On the Time cover they airbushed away twenty years of health problems

I flashed back to the one you just put here from Time. Yep, total distortion of the facts. Can't we send them both and say - "Ha! We're on to you!!"

3. JESUS!!!!!!!!!
LOOK AT THOSE HANDS!!!!!!!!

My mother, who was a great beauty, always warned me that "the hands are the first to go."

If this isn't proof that Mom was right, I don't know what is.

13. He spent lots of time in the sun
That's why his hands look like that. That and genetics. If your hands don't look like that now, they won't in five years.

25. My mom always said that too
and now she wonders why anyone bothers with plastic surgery when your hands will always give you away. I remember my grandma holding one of my nieces, stroking the baby's hand and saying "Ah - there's nothing like new skin." It is frightening when you compare your hand to a little kid's.

Is there a forum where DUers can teach/learn about making YouTube clips?

I've made a couple with Windows Movie Maker...If I can do it, anyone can. Trust me.

22. He's no Geritol Poster Boy!
I'm surprised the camera didn't shatter. I just saw a lot more detail than I wanted to.

Cindy is an amazing woman. With her money, I would have dumped him for someone younger years ago. She either loves him, or wants to be First Lady VERY BADLY.
