Inescapable conclusion - they're not putting her out because they don't want people to bond too much

when it is clear they probably will have to replace her sometime in the near future as the various scandals start to unfold more completely.

If they want to squelch that theory, they should put her out in full force just like they would do normally with ANY candidate for the VP. Their atypical actions suggest an atypical situation. The longer they wait, the worse it will probably get and then the question will be, why didn't they move sooner?

2. No, I think it's because when they DO let her out of her cage, it will

be big news and get more excitement, and she will also be better prepared. It's a two-fer, for them. Keep the fan-club excitement going, stretch out the novelty, and then allow her to look somewhat competent.

3. I honestly think the last minute selection was for the convention

and convention only to fire up the base. I think she's going to be gone. Under any other circumstances do you think Joe Lieberman would have so joyfully spoken for McLame after he had been rebuffed? I think a deal was made and Joe will be McLames VP (and this is what McLame really wants). McLame will stomp his feet if he doesn't get what he wants. She's becoming toxic, and even Cindy has got to realize she is a loser. My tinfoil hat I know, but I've never believed she was in for the long haul.
