A quick trip into the land of the insane...
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26552453/

GOP delegates ponder that unsettling 'what if?'
Republicans identify what they most fear Obama would do if elected

>here's my favorite quote<

"Delegate William Diamond, a real estate investor from Palm Beach, Fla., said his anxiety was both financial and military.

If Obama wins, “there will be a whole series of actions, redistributing wealth in this country, as well as changing our foreign policy to accommodate interests that are inimical to the United States, in the Middle East,” Diamond fretted."

>yeah, can't have the have mores having less or god forbid talking to other nations and people instead of bombing them, perish the thought<

1. This is what we get for being subtle
I for one am waiting for Obama to say "Yes, I will absolutely take whatever I want from the haves and give it to have nots, and Yes, we will make decisions best for the world and not some arbitrary 'country', and there will not be a damn thing you can do about it!"

It's a daydream, I know, 'cause that's not electable. It's not a campaign speech... but could be a GOVERNING speech in January.

2. Why would he say that? It isn't the truth.
Honestly, that's such a Republican POV.

3. Rule #2
"Members are expected to be generally supportive of progressive ideals"

Progressive IDEALS not subtle half-hearted babystep nods in the general direction of progressive ideals.

4. Did you forget the "sarcasm" Smilie?
Surely you don't think of the USA as "some arbitrary 'country,'" or believe that Senator Obama does.

5. Citizen of the World
What I heard in Berlin was a promise to put the world first.

Is that promise going to be kept or will it be compromised in the name of "Patriotism"???

Next you'll tell me that ****in flag pin is coming back out of the jewelry box...

11. Perhaps putting the world first in part means
We won't go in and bomb the crap outta you, murder your people and steal your resources.

12. Wealth has been redistributed since the establishment of the Income Tax,
in 1913, the only question is what the ratios should be.

If you believe no billionaire or mega-corporation should be left behind, the Republicans are your ticket, on the other hand if you believe the other 99.5% of Americans have been unduly burdened while the fat-cats skate, vote Democratic.
