A small, sad, tired, compromised, feeble, unprincipled old man just spoke in an attempt to be ......
..... elected president. He is partnered with a conniving, treacherous, religiously insane, end of times, egomaniacal, sociopathic woman who wishes him a speedy demise.

6. iI won't, but if his campaign had vetted her, and if he
hadn't jumped to kiss the ring of the far right 'christian right' or Domionists he would've known about her, eh? Personal responsibility and all of that.

9. I don't know about "unprincipled"
Edited on Thu Sep-04-08 11:08 PM by jberryhill
Biden nailed it with "he doesn't get it."

There's a genuinely decent man in there with a compelling personal story. But he compromised it all away.

10. Unprincipled ......
You know that daughter of his you saw on stage tonight? The one with the darker complexion? In 2000 she was the subject of one of the most vile push polls in history. George Bush's shop ran it against him. Rove's shop, actually. In South Carolina.

"Would you be more or less likely to support John McCain if you knew he had a black baby?" That won the primary for The Simian Motherfucker.

And one of the guys in Rove's shop back then? McCain's 2008 campaign guru, Steve Schmidt. Schmidt is rumored to be the guy who did that particular bit of push poll nastiness.

Does McCain stand up for his kid?

Nope.

Kerry did, actually. But not Johnny.

Instead, Johnny has been giving rim jobs to Bush and Rove since then.

And now? Rove himself is on Johnny's payroll, too. Right along with Schmidt.

And that 'distancing from Bush' you **think** you saw tonight? Its crap. It was kabuki theater. Pure bullshit for the consumption of the rubes.

No, Johnny is unprincipled. He's not even a real man. He's a suck ass with tired political ambition.

I stand by use of the word.

And all the other words in my OP.

11. Couldn't agree more, Husb.
Not only with your explanation of unprincipled, but with everything you said in the OP.

13. Severely compromised...

...which is probably a quibble's worth of difference from unprincipled.

It's all in the size and number of the compromises along the way until there is nothing left to compromise.
