I hate these fuckers. I hate how they fucked up this country. I hate
how they exploit the stupid, gullible and uneducated. I hate their greed, I hate their stupidity. I hate their homeland security, I hate their TSA, I hate their destruction of the justice system and the constitution. I hate their lying, I hate their cheating, I hate every motherfucking thing about these low lifes. I hate them all. They took a new century and turned it to shit. Fucking assholes.

Please, make these bad people go away.

2. Oh, that's good.
It's ok. You're among friends. We can all cringe in the corner of democracy together until the bad people go away.

7. it's been worse
in many people's lifetimes segregation, jim crow, and virulent racism were codified into many state and local laws and rigorously enforced.

we've had brushes with shades of fascism with the suspension of habeas corpus during the lincoln administration, the alien and sedition acts, and the forced interment of japanese-american citizens during ww2.

don't get me wrong, i agree with you: the regression to the middle ages and the extreme rightward shift is horrifying.

the litany of abuses and usurpations by the current administration inflicted on the american people is unprecedented.

nonetheless, the accretion of absolute corporate power and the subservience of our politicians to this power is the most frightening and telling fact.

there is no populist movement, there is no popular groundswell to counteract these forces.

the moment people stop investing their trust in people who they can never access and speak face to face to will possibly reanimate the corpse of the american project.

right now it is dead.

9. For some reason thinking about the Spanish Inquisition and
stuff like that is not improving my attitude. If these fuckers win in November I am giving up.

13. It's PATRIOT Act
Edited on Thu Sep-04-08 09:58 PM by PeaceNikki
USA PATRIOT Act to be more accurate. It's an acronym.

'Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism'

Silly, huh?

10. Love the rant. The challenge is in the last sentence.
They are not going to go quietly. They aren't going to willingly give up the power and
the access to the US Treasury. They cannot be trusted.
