Bush History,9/3 - A Katrina Plea to FEMA: "For God sakes, shut up and send us somebody"
An emotional Louisiana official feels abandoned by the Feds in Katrina's aftermath, telling Tim Russert of an isolated mother. The desperate woman was promised help: "'Somebody's coming to get you on Tuesday. Somebody's coming to get you on Wednesday ... on Thursday ... on Friday'. And she drowned Friday ... I'm sick of the press conferences. For God sakes, shut up and send us somebody".
