Did anyone hear Tom Brokaw saying that women
will identify with Sarah Palin? Now that is sexist.

1. Sexist and irrelevant . . .
Many women are mothers and will "identify" with Palin on that level -- without ever wanting to vote for a ticket that has her on it.

The affinity element of this pick is very weak sauce, IMO.

Can't find the other thread right now...but don't forget to tell them that Palin's budget has cut special education by 62%. Oh, and 0% increase for 2009.

8. Tom Brokaw is either
a republican, a conservative, a RW talking head, or just plain anti-Obama because he is one of the earlier mentioned things, a closet racist or has some other reason. He has made it clear in his interviews, comments and appearances that he favors mccain.
JMHO

12. American women would rather identify with the people on Oprah...
than those on Cops or Springer.

What a maroon.

Palin appeal will be to young RW men and fundies. I don't think many women will go for the GOP version of an empowered woman.
