It's akin to yet another "shock and awe" ploy: SHOCK them with a female nominee and AWE them with her pregnant teenage daughter. Let's argue about how's she's victimized because she is a female with a pregnant teen. Forget her education and background and complete lack of interest in NATIONAL domestic policy and ignorance in foreign policy. Forget the power-mongers have found a female puppet to replace GWB.

Geez! She is being USED as merely another ploy towards the REAL ELITES maintaining and expanding their power.

I am sorry for her. I'm sure she is feeling absolutely thrilled at the chance of becoming something no woman has achieved. However, she reminds me a LOT of that woman in Florida (Katherine Harris?) who was thrown into something completely over her head. And I don't say that in any way to demean what she has achieved. But, seriously,...she hasn't a clue how the top-dog "good ole' boys" play the BIG GAME and just how vulnerable she WILL BE to their muscle. She hasn't a CLUE!!!

Sadly, I imagine she will be like those before her and allow her own ambition to secede her loyalty to the interests of THE PEOPLE, this democracy, this constitutionally-driven (supposedly) nation. Such ambition proves NO honor or loyalty in this country. It only proves how weak human beings can be in face of protecting a fragile concept intending to advance humanity: democracy.

I don't have any desire to visit Governor Palin's personal issues. I want to challenge her on the difficult issues, if she will even acknowledge them, involving the basic strength of this country: economic strength, educational strength, resilience in democracy (equal rights and just laws), the security to know the rest of the world values us enough to stand by us (WHICH THE NEOCONS COMPLETELY DESTROYED), and social/cultural strength to believe in ourselves. The party of dividers and haters have profiteered ENOUGH!!!!

Just, spewing thoughts off the top of my head.
