I heard a really hard hitting Obama ad on DC's all news radio, WTOP

WTOP actually simultaneously broadcasts on a number of FM stations in the region, giving it a range that covers most of Maryland, all of DC (duh), Northern Virginia, and parts of West Virginia. It is really regional radio.

Anyway ..... the ad.

It starts off with a spokesperson for (I think it was) Planned Parenthood saying that a vote for McCain is a vote to end a woman's right to choose to have an abortion (the words 'choose' and 'abortion' were used). Then there's a clip from Press the Meat, with Timmeh asking McCain if he supports a constitutional amendment to outlaw all abortions and Johnny sez simply and without hesitation 'yes'. Then a female voice over comes on (paraphrasing, probably badly): "John McCain will work to end your right to choose what is best for you. We women have worked a generation for the gains we've made. We can not see it all end with a single vote." The ad closes with "I am Barack Obama and I endorse this message."

GOBAMA!!!!!!

I have long said that this is EXACTLY what we need to be doing. Point to the other guy and say clearly and proudly: "He will end your right to choose an abortion. I will not."

This is a hard hitting, powerful ad. Nothing wussy or wimpy about it. To the point, unambiguous, succinct and perfectly clear.

already...hopefully it will help make Northern VA even bluer.

I thought it was an excellent ad. It will appeal not only to Democrats, but to socially **responsible** indies and repubs.
