No one ever told him that we were attacked on 9/11 precisely because Bush had been installed into office by friends of his father on the Supreme Court.

I mean Voight, not sharesunited.:)

Voight writes op-eds, too:

"Sen. Barack Obama has grown up with the teaching of very angry, militant white and black people: the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers and Rev. Michael Pfleger. We cannot say we are not affected by teachers who are militant and angry. We know too well that we become like them, and Mr. Obama will run this country in their mindset.

The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way. It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America. . .

This is a perilous time, and more than ever, the world needs a united and strong America. If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and our country will be weakened in every way."

20. That's seriously crazy writing--reminds me of a ten-year old girl, brainwashed
at "Christian camp," and suffering an abusive father and a cringing mother. She just doesn't know any better. She absorbs propaganda lines and then repeats them in her essays. "...their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America...".

The craziness has a naivete to it--a rote, brainwashed tone--that's kind of scary coming from a grown man.

Poor Jon! What a loss! I would say he is a seriously "demoralized" person who has S/M issues (identifies generosity, help for the poor, taking responsibility for the common good, etc., with "weakness," and identifies violence and aggression--Bushitism--as "strength"). "Subliminal messages," eh? Well, anybody who can call skinny Mr. Big Ears a "God-like figure" is surely getting weird messages from somewhere, but I don't think it's the Obama campaign.

It's a pity, really. I wonder what happened to him.

2. Jon Voight
should do some book learnin' or maybe look into the depths of the internets tubes and find out that the Republican's have made us less safe as a result of their idiotic and destructive policies.

Just a thought though.

5. Wasn't it under a Republican watch that 9/11 happened?
Oh, yeah it was.

The previous administration said terrorism will be your number one priority, and this administration ignored every warning while at the same time scheming to get into Iraq BEFORE 9/11.

13. What? The Repubs couldn't get Ted Nugent to introduce her?
You'd think that would be the perfect match as Ted's and Sarah's lives seem to revolve to some degree around a joy in blowing furry critters to little bits.
