A McCain/Palin win would show clearly that our nation is regressing.

Not that I believe it will happen - I MUST believe that common sense and common good, logic and talent and skill, will win out at the end of the day and Obama/Biden will be in the White House starting to fix all of Bush's broken Pottery Barn items from the past 8 years.

But....

If somehow McCain/Palin does win, I think we have to take a long, hard look at what the message would be. I can think of a few not very positive thoughts on this:

Stealing elections in plain sight is no longer a crime
We've become a fascist state and the progressives no longer are represented
Progress is halted by the flat earth society and we will be no better than other theocratic religion pounding nations
We will be on a long, slow decline as any sort of principles of the US vanish

We cannot let this happen!

2. Not necessarily. It might prove you can't rely on the voting machines

to tabulate without corruption.
