America's Funniest Home Videos
Anyone wondering how this country could elect Bush for two terms should watch America's Funniest Home Videos. This show displays that people in this country have really lost their minds. Some of the videos sent in showed people shocking themselves with the shocking dog collars. Some of the others showed people allowing someone to hit them in the elbows and knees with pool cue balls.

2. I love, love, LOVE getting high and watching that show.
I find it so appealing in that state.

Something about watching morons falling down and hurting themselves that just works for me.

3. In the UK, a few years back,...
there was a late-night youth-oriented show called "The Word." One of the segments each week was called, "I'll do anything to be on television." People would do incredibly disgusting things (including, on one occasion, eating their own shit) just for the "privilege" of about 30 seconds of broadcast fame.

There was also a woman whose husband was having a heart attack but, instead of calling 911, she ran and got the camcorder, intending to sell the footage to "You've Been Framed" (the UK eguivalent of AFHV). The husband survived because his teenage son arrived home and called for help. The last report I heard, the husband was considering divorce.

There is something about the haunted fishtank that makes people willing to endure any amount of suffering and humiliation if it means they get to be on the other side of the screen for a brief time.

4. Republican humor...
When the elderly fall down and break a hip, they find it amusing.
Concussion? Hilarious.

I have written to the station on more than one occasion.
I just don't watch it anymore...EVER!

5. That show proves that evolution is not working fast enough.
There are some really stupid people in this world. That show should be called, "America's Most Stupid."

11. Evolution does not 'improve'. Evolution adapts.
Take from it what you will.
