Theocracy...just a front, maybe?

So, yesterday I saw a post(that sank to the bottom somewhere before I could respond) saying that if Palin becomes the Prez we will become a theocratic state. But, did she turn Alaska into a theocracy? I don't think so. I've thought for a long time that the theocrats and the people who voted for them were just dupes or fronts for the corporatists. I noted when I was like 12 years old these yahoos would give save-the-fetuses speeches, then just push a capital gains tax cut, rinse repeat next cycle. These people make no inroads(thank God) on social issues except in a few of the reddest states-certainly nothing substantial on the federal level. Look, the religious right are gullible folks-that's why they vote for Republicans. hence, religion is a great way to put forth the corporate agenda. However, an outright theocracy would be bad for both business and pleasure, so it won't happen. Let's keep our eyes on the corporatists! A theocracy will NEVER happen! it is a distraction. The dominionists are just puppets for the Corpos!
