Graham criticizes Obama for missing too many Senate votes.»

Today on ABC This Week, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) criticized Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) for being absent for so many Senate roll call votes, saying that “Sen. Obama’s been gone more than he’s been here.” Watch it: http://thinkprogress.org/2008/08/31/graham-criticizes-obama-for-missing-too-many-senate-votes/

Of course, Graham failed to mention that his candidate, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) remains the most absent member of the Senate, beating even Obama. McCain has missed 63.8 percent of the votes in the 110th Congress; Obama has missed 45.5 percent.

2. The Graham Cracker is being quite helpful these days - managed to slam Bush
the other day when talking about Palin not having met world leaders (well, Bush met with Putin...)

3. Although it cuts off right after Graham speaks, I bet that the ABC News interviewer
didn't indicate that McCain held a worse record in response. I could be wrong as I didn't see any more of it than the clip you linked to, but knowing ABC, I would tend to bet Grahams statement went unchallenged.

4. And I'm sure that ABC didn't share that fact, did they?
