"Alaska is next door to Russia" - It's now a Talking Point
I thought it would be something that only a dunce like Steve Doocy would say but they're freaking serious. Just how stupid do they think Americans are?

Ooops Don't answer that.

6. There was a lot of talk about that at the Obama rally yesterday.
Everyone I heard talking about it used heavy sarcasm and laughed at the joke of it.

I don't think everyone will fall for that talking point.

12. You would think not but...
just wait. You'll be hearing it from the 28%ers and the GOOP from now till November. Never underestimate the gullibility of the voters.

We won the midterms with that 28% gullibility rating. I think we can overcome that TP.

10. I guess the counterpoint would be "how many times has
she been there?"

I can't tell that she has. I can't tell that this idiot has ever been anywhere except Texas and D.C.

19. Palin hasn't been there
but I'm sure she's talked about it at local PTA meetings. :sarcasm:

Sharing a latitudial line with a foreign country does not give one foreign policy experience.

25. She got her first passport in 2007 to go visit the troops in Kuwait.
She also changed planes in Germany and took a detour for mini-break in Ireland.

Why, she's a regular foreign policy wonk! :eyes:

Or they are gauging how stupid the American populace really is so they can use that in the future.

33. She's also a Space Policy expert and an expert on NASA
In fact she's more fluent in Space Policy because Alaska is only 50 miles from space, while it's 58 miles from Russia...

Worst.Talkingpoint.Ever.

Seriously, if this is one of their talking points that just lays out how little foreign policy experience she has.

29. Jon Stewart skewered Doocy for that line last Friday night
As did KO on Countdown. At the time I thought the statement would be laughed off as typical Doocy idiocy. Now they're seriously putting that out there as her experience. I'm amazed.

Here is CrooksandLiars video from Friday's TDS/Colbert report. It's hilarious.

Let me hasten to express my profound gratitude to John McCain and his handlers for locating the one female politician in the country who makes KBH look smart and accomplished by comparison. Nice work, boys....
