FOX News from the movie Idiocracy
I love this clip. I don't think we'll have to wait 500 years for FAUX to turn into this though.

6. The movie is actually a very funny and pointed skewering...
of the accelerating "dumbing down" of America.

It was so on-target and merciless in its criticisms that its own studio (20th Century Fox) tried to bury it.

My only problem with the film is that it supposedly takes place 500 years in the future, but I honestly think we will be there in 10-20 years.

7. I know...
And the hit tv show in the future is "ow my balls" which is a dumbed-down version of "America's Funniest Home Videos" if you can imagine!

8. Actually, one of the most popular show's this summer was "Wipeout"
which is almost indistinguishable from "Ow, My Balls!"

11. It was a great movie
I tell everyone who doesn't see the obvious dumbing down trend to watch that movie. My family and I have already adopted some of the lines in our daily life.

One of my favorites is, "Oh yeah? Well if water is so great for plants how come you don't see them growing out of toilets?" And the response from the other moron, "Hey! Are you sure you're not the smartest man on the planet?"

Just quoting these makes my family crack up.

16. He was watching "Sweet Bang Tube"
It's spelled with two D's - for a double dose of pimping.

You see, a pimp's love is different from that of a square . . ..
