Calling "Bullshit" On Cheney Not Speaking at Republican Convention
I could buy off on the argument that Bush will be too busy with disaster preparedness and reaction even though I know full well that the dim wit is in truth being kept away from the Convention because his appearance would actually do more harm than good.

How does that excuse Cheney from attending and speaking though? The President is not dead, the Congress is not in session. Dick Cheney does not have a single duty in the world he must attend to rather than speak at his Parties* Convention.

So while I relish the thought of Bush spotlighted by and united with his Party on all the networks I know they'll look for any excuse to keep him home. Cheney has no reason not to show up.

4. Sure He Does...An Approval Rating Slightly Above A Pedophile
I was sensing that if the GOOPers could have had these guys speak on Sunday when no was around that was fine with them.

Protocol calls for the incumbents to speak...especially since these human excrements are still the titular head of the party. The last time I recall a sitting President didn't apepar was LBJ in 1968...and pretty much for the same reasons Crashcart, in specific, is probably staying away.

Plus just think of the contrast between seeing crashcart and Sarah Baracuda...talk about a contrast in experience and styles. The only thing they have in common is the ability to shoot people.

Also, if he didn't appear the corporate media would obsess with why he didn't. Now he's got the excuse...he needs to assist in the disaster work...by bombing Iran.

Cheers...
