1. the poll question is crazy though.
dems who think she's totally unqualified will be pleased, and repugs who like her will be pleased, etc. it seems like a terribly useless poll to me.

7. Exactly. I'm thrilled with the pick because it reeks of desperation, but ...
a "yes" vote would seem as if I approve of her.

4. did you see where she cut funding for police & fire
Edited on Sat Aug-30-08 06:31 AM by MissWaverly
to fund lights for sports stadium and bleachers, that would really help us in another crisis, the Nays should have it, the last thing we need is another crew in the White House that knows nothing about helping the American people.

5. Just the reading of her name in the context I have is enough to let me know she is trash
and not worthy of our time let alone be in our executive branch

6. Consider the two approaches GOP vs Dem
Edited on Sat Aug-30-08 01:44 PM by MissWaverly
Caroline Kennedy in charge of Obama's search team, ask any dem, they would say that she is above reproach, who picked Palin, she was invited down to McCain's Sedona ranch, he went for a walk and decided, this sounds more like the "decider" approach to governing, something I would like to hear no more of after Bush leaves office. Certainly the president is the "Commander in Chief" but he is also entrusted with the responsibility of carrying out the common good. How does he do that w/o informed advice by experts.

9. yes, my friend just asked me how I know this stuff about Palin
by doing some research, and even we verify our sources not expecting knowledge to spring from our navels. Agree about the commitment, we must win this one.
