I know they tell you not to pay too much attention to the center line, but given where it is directly pointed at, it's pretty hard not to.

5. It would be really bad for me

Hurricane Charley hit south Florida as a Cat 4 hurricane, and it was still a Cat 2 as it blew through Orlando. The eye of the storm passed within a few miles to the west of my house, I still remember having 105mph winds blowing against our door. Really scary stuff. Although I personally got very lucky during that storm. Just down the street, there was a tornado that tore through a neighborhood damaging several homes.

Not too long ago, Fay was projected at approximately the same course when she too was south of Cuba. She ended up cutting across Florida at about Lake Okeechobee, went out in the Atlantic and then cut back in south of Jax and went due west. Point is, anything can happen.
