Cheney defends Torture - AGAIN!

PHOENIX, Arizona (CNN) — Vice President Dick Cheney defended the Bush administration’s record in the battle against terrorism Wednesday, telling a veterans’ group that its use of “alternative” interrogation techniques against suspects was legal and proper.

“No nation in the world takes human rights more seriously than the United States,” Cheney said at the American Legion’s annual convention. “The policies of our country comply with our law, which prohibits torture. We’re proud of our country and what it stands for. We expect all who serve America to conduct themselves with honor, and we enforce the rules.”

President Bush acknowledged in 2006 that several top operatives of the al Qaeda terrorist movement had been held in CIA custody and subjected to what he called “alternative” interrogation techniques. They include Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the admitted mastermind of the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington that killed nearly 3,000 people.

Cheney said the CIA program involved “tough customers and and tough interrogations,” but said the information obtained from prisoners prevented attacks and saved American lives.

3. Rich folks are getting richer. Their mental powers can alter the electronic voting
machine outcome, too.

4. "the information obtained from prisoners prevented attacks and saved American lives.
Of course, no proof of that statement is ever offered. We just have to take Cheney's word on that.
Sadly, most Americans approve of "Alternative Interrogation Methods", aka Torture, of "Terrorists" because Terrorists deserve whatever happens to them. Those Terrorists attacked America, so they don't deserve the Geneva Convention Laws.

6. Every time this comes up, remind people that by Repuke definition
McCombover was NOT tortured.

Every. Single. Time.

And, if the POWs at Gitmo are not POWs ("There is not a declared war, so they aren't enemy combatants!") then McCane was not a POW either.

9. How much longer will America protect and safe-guard the war criminal executive?
Because without full accountability, that's all America is doing...protecting and safe-guarding the war criminal executive.

10. It really pisses me off when I hear
them (Booo$h/Cheney) spewing that bullshit. They stand up there telling how its supposed to be, totally lying about how it really is and the morans that support them soak it up and believing it as if JC himself had said it.
