If it doesn't rain during Obama's speech, shouldn't that mean God approves
of Obama?

Shouldn't it mean to all those praying for rain that God said, ah no, Obama's the man!

How about that for a commercial?

3. Maybe it actually shows Obama's good judgement: it seldom rains in Denver.
If it does rain, people might say that it showed poor judgement to take such a risk.

It could still rain, but it won't last too long. However, it could push his speech off of prime time. It's wrong to blame or credit the weather on God when people are making decisions that don't take weather into account.

4. :)
One summer, a drought threatened the crop in a small town. On a hot and dry Sunday, the village parson told his congregation, "There isn't anything that will save us except to pray for rain. Go home, pray, believe, and come back next Sunday ready to thank God for sending rain."

The people did as they were told and returned to church the following Sunday. But as soon as the parson saw them, he was furious.

"We can't worship today. You do not yet believe," he said.

"But," they protested, "we prayed, and we do believe."

"Believe?" he responded. "Then where are your umbrellas!"

5. I checked yesterday
and Thursday was the ONLY day in the 10 day forecast that showed "sunny - 0% chance of precipitation". Every other day showed 10% to 30% chance of late afternoon showers.

So... That means the fundies will simply say "see, it proves that Obama is the anti-christ... he has made a deal with the devil!"

6. Its going to rain on thursday
Just not in Denver. The problem with the fundies, is, as usual, they miss the mark, putting the water on Seattle, instead of Denver.

9. They'll have a convienant excuse as always - they are full of them

The whack-job fundies will always have a get out of jail free card for every situation. God didn't answer their prayers? Easy. God must have wanted to expose Obama for the closet Muslim that he is. No rain? God made it rain on Obama's mind and the election! It will rain tears when loses the election!

See, playing a fundy is easy! You never have to account for anything when you have a ready made excuse that trumps all, kinda like McCain's POW card.
