So I saw a car today
With a sticker about a Serviceman who was killed in Iraq. Part of it was "...He was also my Son...". There was also a magnetic ribbon, "Pray for Peace".

He would have been about a year older than my Son who is alive and well.

When I was of draft age during the Vietnam war the casualties somehow did not seem as personal to me as they do now.

What a waste.
