How long is sufficiently respectful of John McCain's repeated use of his POW status ............
..... as an excuse for everything from his forgetting how many houses he has to his flatulence and old man dandruff until we can go after his military record, too?

See ...... that Wes Clark ..... he was ahead of the curve on this.

4. They say people started losing respect for Nixon once Carson started making jokes about him ...

... so either Jay Leno fucked up by not taking the opportunity to poke fun at Adrmial McCombover's crutch, or we're waiting for Carson's real heir to do it.

Letterman? Stewart?

Stephen Colbert?

The right person has to say it the right way, then it's all over for the GOP.

6. If that's the case, my money is on Stewart, Colbert and Letterman....
...but it was Walter Cronkite that was the beginning of the end of the Vietnam War which added to Nixon's troubles.

2. I think Rachel's taking the right track: She says's he's degrading it
by using it so much. First she said she respected
his service, and then she says she thinks he's
CHEAPENED it by overusing it. Pillow before gun!

It's past time to go after him FULL SPEED AHEAD.

5. For me,
his POW status was irrelevant as soon as he got off the plane.

Next to marrying the multi-millionaire Stepford Girl, that POW camp was the luckiest thing that ever happened to McCain.

A noun, a verb and POW.
That is all this loser has to offer.

talking point defining McCain as unstable from his years as a POW, and should not have his finger anywhere near the button. Hell a "non-Obama supporter" could have written a book describing all the horrible things that happened to vets who were POWs, complete with an analysis of their pyschological profile and some well known wackos that went crazy and started shooting up shopping malls tying this all in to John McCain.

Then everytime they point out that we're demeaning his service to our country we point at Kerry.

I don't understand why democratic candidates for POTUS allow themselves to be led around like this. Every tactic the GOP uses needs to be used by the democrats. I don't care how low it is; we need to fight fire with fire. Don't they get that the rules have changed and they need to keep up.

11. Do you remember the Hogs?
Back in the day, the Washington Redskins front four.

Mean motherfuckers.

Junkyard dogs.

Guys so mean that could make you bite your own fingers off and eat them.

Guys who wiped their asses with 80 grit sandpaper.

We need some Hogs.

Instead we got Muffin and the Cupcakes.

12. He's already overplayed that schtick.
Being a war hero doesn't give one license to have bad judgment about Iraq, Social Security, the limits of power or Foreclosure Phil's harebrained banking deregulation.

14. You don't need my permission to go after him.
As a vet, I won't slight him his sacrifice. But he's running on a platform that's just stupid. Go after that!
