I'm not loyal to the Democratic party, and support Cindy's efforts in Pelosi's district, I don't think she'll win, but it would be nice if she surprised the Democrats with a strong showing, even if a futile one. Maybe Pelosi would be more cautious with disregarding her own constituency and all people who oppose the war in this country.

This doesn't mean I necessarily believe in the Hotel room was bugged story, frankly I'm neutral on the whole thing, its possible she misinterpreted some actions, its also possible that the room was bugged. She does have a right to be paranoid, she's made a lot of enemies over the years, in both parties.

Do you support Obama? Do you maintain that one of his principal virtues is his early opposition to the war? If so, then why do you slime a person who has tried to actually bring the public in to the fray. Her political opponent and most members of congress, including most Democrats have only enabled bush over and over. She decided to start the people's movement the same way that a people's movement affected the war in Viet Nam. Congress was enabling than until the people demanded a halt. But because the Iraq war is over there and there is no draft so that most can just ignore it, the public just didn't care. It was too hot or too cold to actually go out and march so the "protesters" just blogged. Let me know what you have done to stop the war, and then you can talk about Cindy.

60. You don't have to be there or be a genius to see her story is full of holes

Here's a short list of holes

1) Someone had unauthorized access to her hotel
room, was caught red handed tampering with
her phone but she neglected to report it to
the police. (I know the police were in on it).
Instead she sends an email then publishes it.

2) There is know need to bug the handset of
a phone. The signal can be intercepted remotely
any number of a dozen ways. I very much doubt
you could find a phone in a hotel room that was
not a cordless remote and easy to intercept.

3) She said that the hotel room was booked in
advance using her campaign credit card. If that's
true her room could have had bugs installed before
she got there.

4) The story of the repairman in the room is just
too old fashioned to be believable. That only happens
in old detective movies dating back to J Edgar Hoover.

5) This comes on the heals of Code Pink interrupting
Pelosi's speech. So I wonder who was trying to tap her
phone? Dare I say Nanci Pelosi?
