:grr:

Shouldn't that be challenged as violation of campaign laws? Isn't that specifying not only one but two individual candidates without approval?

How the HELL can they get away with that!?!??!!!!

:grr:

DAMN IT!!! I am so sick and TIRED of such abuses,...without reigns!!!

1. How could that be against the law?
The quotes they're using were said in public - not privileged conversation.

10. I could be wrong but,...I thought naming candidates in any ad required approval.

I think such ads should be challenged and those sponsoring should have to spend some money defending them.

That's what I think, for better or worse.

14. Think about it. WE use images of Bush and McCain in OUR ads.
Did we need to get their approval?

15. I don't think there's such a requirement, otherwise we wouldn't be seeing
these ads (or running similar ones ourselves).

Politics. Dirty business.

2. The network that owns them probably gave them permission.
I'm not sure how this stuff works, but it looks as though they aren't using proprietary clips without permission.

5. I don't think they can. Remember Macaca? They used that against
whatshisname. Public domain and all. If they made it up, maybe but she said it.

12. "Fair use"? What about UNFAIR ABUSE?
If these POWER-MONGERS figure they can absolutely abuse ANY notion of honor or truth, they should be the object of what they wage.

Hell, the Republicans have set up a "WAR ROOM" to win power over this nation. What does that say about whether they respect "democracy",...or NOT!!!! That party has become a dictatorship willing to do ANYTHING to retain power and OPPRESS this nation's people,...ANYTHING!!!!

9. this is why we were upset with Hillary while she was losing. We knew her words would come back
but did she stop or reign in her remarks, NO. She said that McSame would do a better job (paraphrased). We all knew when she said this that she was in essence filming ads for McSame.
