Did Cindy McCain Marry Her Father? - (Holy Electra)
http://www.alternet.org/blogs/peek/96204/

This is James Hensley, Cindy McCain's father:

He was a young husband and father before he went off to war. Wounded in combat, he returned home a hero, but stunned his wife by divorcing her to marry another woman. The warrior in this case was not Cindy McCain's husband, but her father, James W. Hensley

3. Creepy
That is the first pic I've seen of him-I'd heard about what he did to his wife/daughter from his first marriage. YUK.

9. It's not that creepy
Women marry men who remind them of their fathers every day. Sometimes this is good, sometimes it isn't.

My dating preference is for guys with dark hair and blue eyes, just like my dad has.

10. My dad is a blond-haired, blue-eyed primarily Aryan
My husband is a brunette with hazel eyes who is part Irish, Scottish and Blackfoot. On the other hand, one of the things that my husband and I have in common is that both of our fathers are a lot alike. It has brought our families closer together. We sit around and swap stories about the absurd things our dads did during our childhoods.

Before my husband, the only thing the men I dated had in common with my dad was their cynicism about the government and they were smart. I've dated men shorter and taller than me, men who were older, men who were younger, men with facial hair and men who were bald. I've never really had a "type" other than they had to have a wide variety of interests with an emphasis on basketball, politics and dogs.
