It's also playing on C-Span right now! She was such a hotshit!! :D

What a great speech and a lot of it is still relevant today... Listen to it! ;)

This is the speech where she says, (paraphrasing)

"Poor George Bush. You can't blame him! He was just was born with a silver foot in his mouth!"

2. I miss Ann Richards...
I hope she's up in heaven with her buddy Molly Ivins, sippin' whiskey and shaking their heads at how things have gone politically since they left us.

We lost a couple of gems there. My two favorite Texas women.

7. You know they're belting a few back and shaking their heads...
I really hoping for a similar speech from a Dem during this convention! ;)

3. I was there.
I talked to Ann at the Texas cocktail party.

They broke the mold with her. It's too bad she isn't still around to give the Repukes hell.

8. It's amazing how after 20 years that speech is so applicable to today
Different Bush but it might as well have been the son. Also same worries after 8 yrs of a terrible Neocon president. Thanks for posting this. I saved a copy. :hi:
