I Drove By The Pepsi Ctr. & Got All Emotional
nothing this big has ever happened in Denver - The Pepsi Center is all decked out with banners and huge stars - the media tents are as big as a football field.

There were many people, especially the students from the Auraria campus walking across to take a looksie, before they close campus all next week. I was driving slowly by, as was a whole bunch of cars and people.

CNN scored the best site and their logo CNN/Politics was painted on all sides of this building in big ass letters.

I'm so excited this historical convention is happening in my home town.

3. Enjoy...Denver Deserves This Moment
My family has roots in that city going back 100 years...and have friends and family all around. This is s special recognition of what a dynamic and exciting city Denver is. Congrats and enjoy.

I know the feeling...we had the DNC in Chicago in '96...redeemed the city for the '68 fiasco...and it was a great time for the city. This year we get the thrill of having one of our own nominated for President...combine this with the Cubs and White Sox being in first place and this city has never had it better.

See if you can get to some of the public events going on...sounds like there's gonna be quite a party outside Mile High on Thursday...might be worth being a part of and bringing a camera.

Cheers...

4. The Only Thing You Can Bring is A Camera
I've never been to Invesco - this is going to be quite an adventure, just getting there. Everyone will be taking the FastTracks because there will be no parking allowed at Invesco. Going through security is going to take a while too. Gates open at 1:00 and they want everyone to arrive early.
