The Republicans enacted policies that . . . .
Edited on Fri Aug-22-08 02:43 PM by HughBeaumont
* screwed the economy
* favored Big Business
* promoted unbridled corporatism
* depleted our military (despite earmarking so many taxpayer dollars for it)
* destroyed several sovereign nations and continue to do so
* rang up a debt that's not going to be paid off in decades
* gladhanded the wealthy while shifting risk and loss onto the lower 95%ile

for the past 30 years. This isn't even counting scandal after scandal after scandal they're so famous for.

The logical thing to do would be:

a) Vote for someone who will at least give us a chance to steer this proverbial Titanic away from the iceberg

or

b) elect yet ANOTHER Republican, who has the exact same positions as his country-screwing predecessors, because "things will get better under him, I KNOW they will!".

I mean, you would think something as space-heater-to-the-gob OBVIOUS as this would not be THAT hard a choice to people.

You would think.
