Miami cops when suited look like black robots. everything is black including the helmet and visor. you can't see the cops face. they all look alike, like robots.

I'd hate to see that in Denver. anybody know?

I am around a lot of Law Enforcement types.

When they go into their RoboCop mode, they feel omnipotent.


Picture a bunch of pasty-faced, out-of-shape college dudes.

Then picture a drunken frat party.

Same kind of deal.


I know guys who go nuts when they are in their SWAT gear.

BIG difference.

I imagine they get mighty hot in the Miami summer sun.

White would be cooler but they might resemble the Storm Troopers from Star Wars and beside dirt shows easy.

Brown shirts could be better but it might bring up negative historical parallels.

Psychologically speaking I read once that some interrogation rooms were painted pink because that color has a calming effect on people being questioned, so I believe if they seriously want to calm crowds from breaking in to riots, the police should be dressed in pink.

Codepink might even bring them some donuts while they're serving on crowd control.
