1. Well, since they're probably going to be worthless by year's end...
...it's probably a natural direction of movement.

3. LOL......Very true!
$3.50 for a cup of over-roasted dirt is kind of a ripoff.

:)

5. LOL!
"Oven-roasted dirt."

That's classic. Trademark that!

My husband will only drink Starbucks--so we grind our own at home. It really does have
a distinctive, almost-burnt, flavor.

7. If you buy the right Starbucks flavor and brew it at home, it's not bad.....
..... I much prefer Illy or Lavazza for home.

4. Do they allow short selling?
Let's ride this train all the way to richville!

If they can screw us, why not make a buck or two off of their demise?

6. Fred & Fan
But given the fact that they´re quasi-government run entities, doesn´t that make them less risky? How can they go bankrupt if the gov´t has essentially guaranteed their liabilities? How can creditors or the government shut them down or liquidate them, when doing so would eliminate the biggest source of home lending to middle class Americans? It would seem to me that these stocks might be a good bet right about now.
