Hmm, French President and Government officials attend funerals of soldiers

Hmm, French President and Government officials attend funerals of soldiers
Paris - France laid to rest on Thursday ten soldiers killed in a Taliban ambush in Afghanistan, while the minister of defence rejected allegations that the military had been too slow to react to the attack. President Nicholas Sarkozy paid tribute to the soldiers' courage and dedication to service at the funeral at Les Invalides in Paris.

How come our pResident and government officials don't attend the funerals of our soldiers?

With the Olympics and Elections, MSM doesn't think we need to hear about a WAR going on anymore!
