I highly recommend this film
The Corporation http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379225/
which looks at the essentially psychopathic nature of the corporation.
It features interviews with Noam Chomsky, Milton Friedman, Michael Moore, and a very young-looking Naomi Kline, among many, many others.

It's a real eye-opening documentary about the shift of power away from local political entities and toward globalized corporate entities. (Also available through NetFlix)

1. Ok, I'll check that out, and maybe you'll want to check Sharkwater
It's the most amazing, beautiful and heartbreaking film I think I've ever seen.

Summary: young man loves sharks and swims with them. Grows up to be a biologist and underwater photographer. Footage is beautiful and amazing. Then it takes a turn for the darkside as it shows the consequesnces of the sharkfin soup industry whick is run by the tiwanese mafia.

Seeing all the sharks getting killed is horrible, but film also explains why sharks are so important to the environment. Anyhow, I can't recommend it enough.

And is there a way to put pressure on china to stop the demand of sharkfin soup?

3. It's a brilliant film.
I had a conservative friend of mine watch it recently and it's really opened his eyes.
