What I don't get about CNN
Edited on Sun Aug-17-08 10:27 PM by Jake3463
They have had terrible election coverage and seem biased towards McCain alot of the time yet they still run great documentries. They have one on now showing women's life in Afghanistan and how things aren't that much different than when the Taliban was in power. The ones on world faiths and Black in Ameria were also great.

What the hell is going on with this network.

2. I actually don't
They seem to be attacking the GOP with their documentries but praising the GOP with their news coverage. Its very odd.

3. They are about selling product. They want a horse race. They play both sides
to keep as many as possible watching for as many reasons as possible. We canned cable a few years ago, so the only thing I know about TV is what I read here. And I am much happier for it. I refused to be advertised at - same goes for movies (we no longer go!).

4. Documentaries are done for awards
Awards are given by liberals in the entertainment industry.

Few average people watch those documentaries, but everyone watches their news.

CNN plays both sides that way.

They blunt criticism by the influential liberals of their programing while advocating for a conservative government with their news coverage.
