Cheney: Invading Iraq Would be an Error; the US Would Get "Bogged Down" There - Bush History, 8/14

On this date in 1992 Dick Cheney correctly states that invading Iraq would be a mistake, that the US would get "bogged down" there. He turns out to have been right, as he saw after he changed his tune and started pushing for invasion.

Also, Bush brags of saving $5 billion, while he diverts $100s of billions of taxpayer dollars to already wealthy corporations. Of course, he makes no mention of that little fact.
