1. I'm happy with that.
Certainly better than Bayh, Gephardt, Kaine or Clinton.

5. He's been my favorite choice of the options all along.
As things are deteriorating world wide Biden would be a well spoken ( entertaining, too) knowledgeable and competent person by his side.
I hope Keith's deductions are correct.

4. KO said a clue may be that Biden has been quiet for some time now.
That's very funny but I think KO is on the right track.

14. Pretty much every elected official is a career politician.
If Obama chooses an elected official he is getting a career politician. The only name who is often mentioned that could really avoid the career politician label is Clark because he never held elected office (but he did try). Sure Biden has been in Washington longer than most, but that also gives him experience.

Do you know who I would like to see him pick though? Someone who is not a household name. Get someone with an incredible resume including a lot of social activism and experience managing a large group of people. I would love to see him choose the director of a really good non-profit or a really well renowned college professor or something.

Get a relatively ordinary person to serve as VP. It would shock the world, but if the person had an incredibly compelling story it would win big points.

is tough for me to get past. Whatever, if he's the choice i'll still be voting for Obama.
