FWIW, I'm boycotting all Tom Clancy products because he's a crazy right-wing nutjob who donated money to Alan Keyes. Don't buy Tom Clancy's stuff.

When we’re not talking about video games, the folks here discuss some of the current events going. With Russia’s conflict war with Georgia going on at full tilt. The last we heard, the military there has accomplished its military goals and now it’s going for something more — a political change in the country, according to The New York Times.

For folks who have played Ghost Recon, this current events stuff is all old news. Apparently, Tom Clancy put forth an eerily similar scenario a couple of years ago in the game. It’s so prescient that it makes me wonder if we’re going to send in the Ghost teams to Georgia now?

1. Never bought the game
but played the demo. Nothing cartoonie about the killing. Disturbingly realistic. I would much rather kill monsters.

2. I thought that was Splinter Cell
The first mission, anyway, takes place in Tblisi. I never made it any farther.
