When two undercover cops stopped a man named Bobby Jewett who was walking down the road.

I do not remember the details, even the internet has forgotten him, but they beat him to death right beside the Palm Beach Post building.

If I remember correctly he had both kneecaps shattered, testicles ruptured, ribs broken, skull fractured and face smashed until he was unrecognizable.

It was headed for the national news when a few days later the beating of Rodney King was caught on video.
