Australians offered US ride from war in Georgia

"The Department of Foreign Affairs advised Australians to make their way to the US embassy in Georgian capital Tbilisi after the country's main airport was closed and the area surrounding it bombed by Russian jets.

A convoy of buses, carrying Americans and other foreigners, was scheduled to make its way to Yerevan in neighbouring Armenia."
