Seems like many of the corporate ads are "soft"...built on image and trying to present a "citizen of the world" attitude...and in many ways this is the theme Senator Obama has been using. It contrasts greatly with Gramps "Get Off My Lawn" spots that say nothing positive.
My bets are Senator Obama is working with a large agency that not only produces his spots but probably did work on others on these broadcasts and thus was given pointers on how their ads could fit in and be more effective.
In full disclosure, I have avoided any commercials from what I've been watching...when one network breaks away, I pop onto another. I have no use for GE or any other multinational "sponsor" that is trying to use the Olympics to whitewash all their greed and conflicts of interest.
