While I can appreciate your disgust at this waste of money, it seems trivial when compared to their other crimes. Further since when is there a need for tigers in a zoo, in a city that has little drinking water,sewage or electricity for it's people, let alone animals in a zoo.I hope, and I'm pretty sure there is a measure of sarcasm in your story. The truth is that when things get as silly as our present crime family in charge has become, we just must laugh as too many tears have been shed already.

I support zoos, and preserving and educating people about wildlife. That is money well spent, whether it is in Baghdad, London or San Diego.

Rather, let's stop spending the billions and billions on continuing the bullshit war in Iraq, rather than getting uptight about $66,000 to save two animals that never hurt you.
