GD has almost always followed the M$M's issue du jour. When a celebrity dies, GD has multiple threads about that. When the M$M talks about immigration, GD has multiple threads about that. When the M$M talks about Israel-Palestine, GD has multiple threads about I/P. There is more discussion about "what is on TV" from Matthews to Olberman to Stewart to Dobbs, etc., etc.

but I do monitor a bit of it when I'm at the computer --- which is a lot.

I try to stick with C-span as much as possible and

I think your concerns are very real ---

As with most websites there are hot periods and cool ---

I think there's a lot going on at the moment and can't pretend that I understand

what's going on with Georgia/Putin! I didn't notice a lot of articles on it on

Yahoo yesterday -- even at Common Dreams. I have some sense that it's still a

developing story -- but I certainly do want to understand all that's happened --

and why!!!


And, I'd also make this point about the Edwards story --

in one way or another --- like with Clinton -- it forces America to grow up re

human sexuality. Suppose he had been our candidate and we had to continue to

support him now? Would you walk away and vote for McCain?


A female store salesperson told me recently that she wouldn't vote for Hillary

because Bill would be in the White House "up every woman's skirt" ---

I do have to say that I did see a few seconds of the corporate-press pulling out
