So the McLaughlin Group now has 1 Democrat against 4 Conservatives
For a long time they had two liberals (Clarence Page and Eleanor Clift), but for quite a while now, the only liberal or Democratic voice is Eleanor Clift. Somehow this had made the show worse.

Thoughts?

2. I don't think fair ever entered into McLaughlin's game-plan...
...he directs the conversation where he wants it to go and then grades the answers.

As long as he contitnues to ask the panel to give a number on the scale of one to ten with one being impossible and ten being metaphysical certitude - it will remain the funniest Sunday show.

4. No, it's more like "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"
where points don't matter.

i don't know anybody that thinks that the grading of the answers actually mean anything for the viewers.

3. Makes me even less likely to watch it. Might as well be the O'Lielly group or the Hannity Group

There is no real discussion there. Just a way to spread the repuke talking points.

At least O'Lielly's a buffoon who's good for a laugh every now and then.

6. My first thought ... don't watch it
and "let us not buy from their sponsors" should be part of a new Our Father.

Fat Tony Blankley that was a good move, but they replaced him with Monica Crowley. I can't stand her and her sneering at anything that vaguely resembles a liberal point of view.

I've watched "The Screamers" as the McLaughlin Group is referred to by my family since it started. But its beginning to wear me out. I would love to see Eleanor slap the ever-loving shit out of Monica Crowley. God knows she needs it.

9. Conservatives?
Or perhaps fascists?

There aren't many actual conservatives featured on the fascist propaganda media.

13. And Eleanor always pushes the corpoDems spin - she's definitely a DC cocktail party repeater
of the 'strategist class'(see Carville, Begala) spin. A female Bill Press too lazy to do real reporting.
