It's on TAPE, you freaking idiots..

STOP...the...tape...run commercials...start the tape again..

There's NO excuse for this shit...

If it needed to run an hour longer, then run it an hour longer... Most people are taping it anyway and will fast forward through the commercials anyway :evilgrin:

5. That might ruin the illusion that Americans deserve to see things
"as they happen". It would be WAY TO CLEAR that we were all watching a tape (you know, like the TIVO on your own TV) if they did it that way. Millions of Americans would shake their head and go "huh?' at the familiarity of the sensation. They'd check their VCRs to see if they had mistakenly rented an "Olympic Show" video from Blockbuster.

Then it might dawn on them that they were only being held on their sofas for the commercials sake

6. I wonder how long they will keep showing it once it is officially over
something tells me that they will show us the ending live and then go on to Brittany and that other girl:-) and in the mean time we get to see bits and pieces here and there.
