Why do many DUers express outrage about Edwards but have zero posts about Vitter or Craig, etc? ?

I think that Edwards is in the wrong for having lied to us and covered this up for so long. The affair is between the two of them and their family.

The Republicans that you mention have lied and set themselves as some kind of moral authority - yet been in some of the most sordid sexual incidents mentionable. The still continue to lie to this day - and the media hasn't held them to the same standard as Edwards, Clinton, Spitzer, et.al.

It's possible to dislike Edwards for what he did, but still respect his political work. But what he did was terribly disingenious and misleading to his supporters. I have lost a lot of respect for him as a leader and a person, but ultimately he's still one of the good guys.

From what I remember. The jokes got so harsh over Craig our gay and lesbian friends started to feel uncomfortable from what I remember and I don't blame them.

The anger is greater at Edwards though and one reason is that many of us donated money to his campaign. That makes it more personal and brings it closer to home. If I were a repuker from Idaho and donated money to that Craig asshole then I would feel more lousy as well.

Just one mans opinion. The idea that over $100,000 was paid to her for some unused youtube videos that were of laughable quality? That bothers me on so many levels, especially when the campaign was always crying poor in their fund emails.
