5. I believe the point is that you can't set yourself up as a moral authority
and then lie about performing the exact same "disrespectful" act without being (rightfully) branded a self-aggrandizing dick.

And I'm very disappointed in him.

With that said, he is a private citizen now and he wasn't in office--seeking office yes, but NOT in office. That doesn't change anything, but I think it's different because Bill Clinton was in office and lied as our President. Despite that, it was the Clintons business then and it's the Edwards business now--and the media should STFU!

6. I had heard that he was one of the best defenders of Clinton
and that his speach in the senate was very well recv'd. He was on the defense.

I read the speach somewhere sometime ago and it was quite good.

Who are you talking about? I'm talking about Edwards.
